Still Life

Fleur de printemps, pommes et poires. 1866
Henri Fantin-Latour

Inanimate. Unperturbed. Grounded. Still.

Such is a state when we are at peace with ourselves, with others, with life.

"But I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me."  - Psalm 131: 2
